Course Description

Creativity and the Visual Arts (6743)

Creativity and the Visual Arts includes instruction in the areas of art criticism, aesthetics, art history, art production, and creativity. It is recommended for students who are interested in art, but don't care to develop art production skills. Art history, taught as a separate discipline, will prepare students for college humanities courses. It also provides the students with a knowledge of their visual, creative, and cultural past. Students taking this course will explore the creative behavior of others and solve creative problems in the exploration of their own creative potential.
