The Sewickley Creek Watershed Association needs you. We exist to help clean up the creek banks and acid mine drainage so families and sportsmen can enjoy our streams and valleys they way they were created. Openings exist for occasional volunteers to help with cleanups but just as important we need talented and dedicated individuals, regardless of age, to serve on our executive board and its various committees. Meetings only occur once a month and we deliberate on treatment methods, funding sources, ongoing budget allocations, and public relations issues. If you have a personal interest and/or have fond memories of fishing and playing in streams and valleys, join us and help preserve these resources for your children or grandchildren. Joy Church of the Brethren will hold Spring Revival/Enrichment Services Sunday, March 21 through Wednesday, March 24, with evangelist Rev. Roy Gearhart of Roy Gearhart Cutting Edge Ministries. Sunday morning service is at 10:45 a.m., with the evening services beginning at 7:00 p.m. They will present special music at each service. Roy Gearhart and his wife, Janice, both gave their lives to Christ as youth and began to serve the Lord early in life. By age 12, Roy began preaching and also by age 12, Janice began to play piano full-time in her home church.
